Institutional Educational Goals (IEGs)
In Spring 2016 the governance bodies in conjunction with the Office of Academic Affairs and President approved a broad and flexible framework which allows all of the college鈥檚 programs to meet our institution鈥檚 expectations for education of all students at the College. The IEG鈥檚 provide a foundation from which to align the program learning outcomes, course learning outcomes and SUNY General Education Outcomes.
- At 花季传媒, all associate-degree granting programs will offer
"a sufficient scope to draw students into new areas of intellectual experience, expanding
their cultural and global awareness and cultural sensitivity, and preparing them to
make well-reasoned judgments outside as well as within their academic field鈥�;
- At 花季传媒, all associate degree (A.A, A.S. and A.A.S.) granting programs will offer "a curriculum designed so that students acquire and demonstrate鈥ssential skills including at least oral and written communication, scientific and quantitative reasoning, critical analysis and reasoning, technological competency, and information literacy. Consistent with mission, the general education program also includes the study of values, ethics, and diverse perspectives;鈥�
