Disability Organizations

Provides one-stop online access to resources, services, and information available throughout the Federal government. Created by the Presidential Task Force on Employment of Adults with Disabilities.
A national non-partisan organization created to represent 49 million Americans with disabilities in order to work together toward common goals and provide basic benefits and services for its members. Also maintains a Career Center where you can search and apply for positions nationwide.
AHEAD was founded to address the need and concern for upgrading the quality of services and support available to persons with disabilities in higher education.
The purpose of the NTID is to promote the employment of persons who are deaf by providing technical and professional education for the nation's young people who are deaf.
Learning Ally is a non-profit group that provides audiobooks and textbooks to students with learning disabilities and visual impairments.
This site can help children and adults with disabilities regain independence through the use of assistive and adaptive technology.
ACCES-VR offers access to a full range of employment and independent living services that may be needed by persons with disabilities through their lives
CBVH provides rehabilitation services to individuals who are legally blind and reside in New York State.
NYSD provides comprehensive social and rehabilitative services on a nonsectarian basis for people who are deaf or deaf-blind and reside in the New York metropolitan area.
